Often overlooked, but a very tasty album of late grooves from Parliament! The album has the group getting a bit closer to the Funkadelic way of things but as that group had dropped their heavy guitar sound by the mid 70s, and Parliament had picked up more of a funk groove, the two were totally interchangeable anyway. The album was the group’s last during its classic run and while it’s not as totally essential as some of the early ones, there’s still some excellent P-Funkiness going on, especially on the cuts “Agony Of Defeet”, “Trombipulation”, “Long Way Around”, and “Let’s Play House”
