Originally released on October 25, 1994, Bedtime Stories found Madonna collaborating with a variety of producers, including Dallas Austin, Babyface, Dave Jam Hall, and Nellee Hooper, and she approached the proceedings with an eye (and an ear) toward a more mainstream sound than shed pursued on her previous album, Erotica.

As a result, Bedtime Stories was both a commercial and a critical success, with Secret going top-5 in both the US and the UK, Take a Bow topping the Billboard Hot 100, and both Human Nature and the albums title track making their way into the UK Top 10. Bedtime Stories is now reissued on silver vinyl as the next release from the Silver Collection.
