” On “pinky ring” London artist, producer and DJ Peter OGrady aka Joy Orbison delivers one of his most dancefloor-focused tracks in recent times. While his hugely acclaimed 2021 mixtape still slipping vol. 1(named Album of the Yearat the 2021 DJ Mag Awards) brilliantly explored Joy Orbison’swide-ranging sounds and influences away from the dancefloor, “pinky ring” is inspired by the energy hes felt since returning to DJing. It’s a track created with the dancefloor firmly in mind, A companion to 2021s red velve7 single, pinky ring is already a key peak time track in Joy Orbison and Overmono DJ sets. “
