Title: Diamond Head Behold the Beginning
Year/Genre/City: 1986, Heavy Metal (Compilation), Stourbridge, England
Matrix #: MBR 1084
Condition: VG+

Cultural Facts:

[Breakup Aftermath]: Released after the Canterbury-era collapse, it kept the bands name alive while they were effectively split, with Brian Tatler remixing the material.

[Influence Chain]: Metallica publicly championed Diamond Head early on, helping turn a UK cult band into a global blueprint for what heavy riffs could become in thrash.

[DIY Demos]: In 1979 they cut self-financed demos fast on a four-track and pushed them hard; that hustle helped land major support slots and industry attention.
